Nail to Cross Jewelry is designed & handcrafted by JW Martin, our dad. Through this custom cross jewelry we are able to support a cause very close to our hearts.  Joyce’s daughter, Mae, was born Amanda Marie on May 9, 2002. She was an extremely happy child with bright eyes and an infectious open-mouthed smile. Her arrival brought so much joy to our family. When developmental milestones were delayed, we knew something was not quite right. But Mae's pediatrician encouraged us to not compare her to her older brother and not to worry. Eventually there was no denying that motor skills and speech were alarmingly absent and a search for answers brought us to a diagnosis of Angelman Syndrome. The journey hasn’t always been easy, but Mae continues to face each day with her beautiful smile.
